The Mid-Western
Branch is one of 7 branches of the Irish Patchwork Society (IPS). We are a group of Patchworkers and Quilters
who love to share our projects and meet on the 3rd Saturday of every month
from September to May 10AM to 1PM with the exception of December when our branch meeting
may be held on the first Saturday of the month.
We meet in the hall
of the Ballybrown Comminty Centre in Calrina Co.Limerick and all are
welcome.
Members pay €5 on
the door and non-members €8. Visitors
are welcome to attend 2 meetings before joining the IPS.
Our branch meetings
include patchwork demonstrations, guest speakers, show and tell and a visiting
pop up shop on the night. We have an
extensive library and members are allowed borrow up to 2 books per month for €1
each. Throughout the branch year we hold
workshops with visiting instructors and sew in days at Villiers School, North
Circular Road.
