FAQ's

1. When and where do you meet?
Currently, we meet on the 2nd Friday of each month (September - June). Meetings begin @ 8pm. Meetings are held in the Limerick Baptist Hall, Old Cratloe Road, Limerick.

Occasionally, the December meetings may be changed to the 1st Friday of the month.

2.  Can I visit a meeting?
Yes!  Please do... you can visit on two occasions, and after the third visit we ask you join us as an official member of the Irish Patchwork Society.
 3.  Entry Fees
Members pay €5 on the door. This is for rent of the hall, raffle tickets and tea/coffee. Non-members pay €6 (with the option of paying €8 if they wish to be included in our raffle). Juniors will pay a fee of €5.
 4. Library
All members can book out 2 library books per month for a fee of €1 per book. Late fees will be charged if books are returned late though. The Mid-West has a large library of quilting books, magazine and some DVD's.
5. Annual General Meeting (AGM)
Every May, the branch holds its AGM. Only branch members can attend the AGM part of the monthly meeting.

6. Workshops
The branch regularly holds workshops especially if we have guest speakers. Due to insurance reasons, only IPS members can attend workshops.

7. Lapsed Membership
People whose membership has lapsed are non considered as non-members and thus are not regarded as visitors. They are required to join the Society paying the annual membership fee and cannot attend as visitors. In the past there has been a practice of lapsed members being allowed to pay €5 at the door if their membership fee has not been paid by November. This is not allowed under the Society's Terms and Conditions.
